Bergamot is a well-known stress reliever, anxiety reducer, and mood lifter, often used in natural cures for cold sores. It is anti-inflammatory and is often used as a spot treatment for acne and cysts. Our bergamot essential oil is sourced from Italy. 

The bergamot oil we use is Bergaptene-free so it is not phototoxic. 

What is Bergamot? 

Bergamot is a green citrus fruit approximately the size of an orange. It is often used to flavor Earl Grey tea, and is commonly used in desserts. It has a slight citrus scent but includes floral and leafy notes as well. 

Store your lip balm in a cool dark place, as it is made of natural oils and waxes it may melt in very hot environments. As our lip balms are handmade, the top of your lip balm may look imperfect, but the shape of the balm will adjust to your personal lip shape within a few uses.
